How IndexGlance Designed the Airacer Aviation Experience

Airacer: booking a private jet without the phone calls

Chartering a private jet has traditionally meant phone calls, brokers and a wait for a quote. Airacer set out to move that whole process online, which meant designing an interface that could carry a genuinely complicated booking — aircraft type, route, passenger count, timing — without overwhelming the person using it.

Our work on Airacer was user interface and user experience design. We mapped the booking journey step by step, worked out which decisions had to come first, and designed screens that ask for one thing at a time. The aim throughout was to make an expensive, high-consideration purchase feel straightforward and transparent.

The interface was designed to scale with the platform, so new aircraft categories and routes can be added without the booking flow needing to be redrawn. The screens below show the result across desktop and mobile.
